This is a very long over due post! But better late then never I guess 😅. This was an amazing project to be apart of. Loved working with the people as well as creating the character of Frankenstein.

A lot of challenges, blood, sweat and tears came with this project especially during casting all of the silicone pieces for this makeup. However these where overcome with the help of my lecturers and industry professionals along these 9 weeks.

Colouration of the back of the head and brain as well as touch ups on set where done by myself. I assisted with the application of prosthetics through application.

Veerry long over due post 😅 final application from my last project of second year. The look was based on the skeleton of animatronics (Reference can be seen in last 2 photos). A mixture of SMUFX and beauty techniques were used in this makeup to create a hyper realistic robot for tv or film. The aim was to keep a beautiful appearance whilst changing certain features creating a sense of uncertainty for the audience.

There are definitely improvements that can be made however through this project I found out that realistic thin prosthetics are very hard to make and apply. However I’m very happy with the outcome.

Roll on third year!

Application from the previous post! This was applied a few months back just haven’t had time to post due to uni and personal life being very stressful 😅 but coming to to the end of submissions now so got a few personal projects coming up!

This was sculpted, moulded, run and applied by myself.

Had so much fun sculpting this open reduction and internal fixation of the femur! I found this sculpt quite challenging to complete due to it being moulded as a flat mould so trying to keep the sculpt as flat as possible definitely came with its challenges but we encountered them and overcome 😂
So happy with all of the narley tissue and pore detail that was sculpted in and hoping that the moulding process picks up all of this detail.

Clay used was medium to allow thin edges and to inhibit curing further down the manufacturing process.

This was based on an initial concept of an old science goblin thing that I sketched up. I’m super happy with the end result, the nose area and rendering could use some improvement but super happy with the horns and hard surface sculpting!!
So exited to learn and develop more in my second year ☺️

This was a look inspired by the Nordic Jörmungandr who is the sea serpent of the world.
The face is a full latex mask with a full latex skirt and silicone prosthetic gills. Even though I’m definitely proud of this look there is lots that could be improved such as the body painting but still extremely proud of all my hard work! 😅🫶🏻

All of this look was completely fabricated, sculpted, moulded and applied by myself 😅

For this I had loads of ideas but decided that I would have a look at different flowers and how they can be quite beautiful but mysterious at the same time. I am actually extremely proud of this whole look.
