What an amazing day with Equine K Taping UK Sussex Equine Massage Therapy today! An informative and interactive day of learning with wonderful people and horses. It was great to meet other therapists, some I know but never met, some new and one who has been a huge inspiration to my learning since the start. Can’t wait to continue learning from each of them and follow their journeys. Think that has been one of my fave CPD days ever and the flapjacks 👌👏🏻

One of the most important things I’ve learnt over the past few years is that less is more. When I first started as a therapist it was all about the muscles and massaging. What a journey I’ve been on discovering a whole different approach to being a holistic equine therapist! Enhancing my understanding of the nervous system, regulation and bodywork has transformed my practice which helps me to help more horses. Every horse, every moment, every special bond formed is what makes my job amazing 🫶🏻😍 Tommy has been with me from the start, he’s been an integral part of me growing as a therapist and sometimes it’s like he knows when he’s helping me to learn 😊

Something so magical about watching a horse reset their nervous system 🐴🤩

Craniosacral therapy = nervous system regulation, release & reset. A beautiful moment this morning between me and Cloud. Cloud finds it difficult to relax & regulate her own body, we’ve had some sessions where shes has found it challenging to understand the process & fully let me in. Today she found her inner peace, let me in and the magic happened ✨ . Cloud showed us an impressive pandiculation stretch at the end and we saw her whole body release itself, shift into a parasympathetic state and it was beautiful to watch it happen 🥰

What an amazing experience this has been from start to finish! 🐴🤩🥰 every new opportunity I’m given, strengthens my knowledge and skills as an equine therapist and helps me to grow my little business and help more horses!

Wow! What an incredible two days me and Abby have had at Think Like a Pony the horses, their team and the children all made us feel extremely welcome. This place really is incredible! Also met up with my fabulous Wolds Equine Sports Massage Approved Courses tutor Lisa Sharp who was also visiting to weigh the ponies today. Huge thank you to everyone at Think Like a Pony for this amazing experience and to the Equestrian Business Awards for the opportunity last year to connect with Think Like a Pony at the awards 🐴🤩 2 massage workshops and 13 ponies later, I’ll defo sleep tonight!!
