One of the biggest habits we correct in our academy, is finger placement.

Your hand should stay relaxed and stable, resting on top of the scissors, while the movement comes through the thumb; not by opening and closing your whole hand.

As a hairdresser, you use your hands ALOT. It’s so important to follow the right technique to avoid any wider issues. This will also give you more control, cleaner results and makes cutting feel so much more effortless.
