If you’ve recently had Botox and dermal filler and the weather is very hot, you can still enjoy the summer, but it’s best to take a few precautions for the first 24–48 hours.

After Botox

* ❄️ Keep cool where possible for the first day.
* 🚫 Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and very hot baths for 24 hours.
* 🏃 Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours, as it increases blood flow and may increase swelling or bruising.
* 🧴 Don’t rub or massage the treated areas unless your practitioner specifically told you to.
* ⬆️ Stay upright for around 4 hours after treatment.
* 💧 Drink plenty of water.

After Dermal Filler

* 🌞 Avoid prolonged sun exposure and excessive heat (saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga) for 24–48 hours, as heat can make swelling worse.
* 🧊 If you’re swollen, apply a cool compress gently (don’t press hard on the filler).
* 💧 Stay well hydrated.
* 🍷 Avoid alcohol for the first 24 hours if possible, as it can increase bruising.
* 💄 Avoid applying makeup to injection sites for around 12–24 hours if advised by your practitioner.
