Colour correction breakdown 📚:
▫️For clients with stubborn dark natural bases (levels 5-7) where high-lift tints just won’t budge, this correction showcases how we achieved a seamless cool blonde. We started with very fine babylights to gently lift through the natural colour, used a low-strength developer to address the banding without over-processing, and finished with a root tap on a level 8 base to blend any remaining banding between the foils.
▫️This approach minimizes damage while neutralizing warmth for that cool tones, long-lasting finish.
▫️Pro tip: On darker hair, combining targeted lightening techniques with precise toning is key—but prevention is even better! Which is why I always insist on a thorough consultation and strand test beforehand to assess how your hair will react, avoiding costly and time-consuming corrective work in the future. Your hair’s health depends on it♥️
