Why I believe consultations are one of the most important parts of your aesthetics journey.

You don’t need to walk into my clinic knowing exactly what treatment you want.

In fact, I’d much rather you came in and told me what you want to improve, what you’re concerned about and what you’d like your results to look like.

Your face is completely unique, so your treatment plan should be too.

During a consultation, I look at your facial structure, proportions, movement, skin quality and areas of concern. We can then talk through what I would recommend, what I wouldn’t recommend, and what can realistically be achieved.

Sometimes the treatment you think you need isn’t actually where I’d start.

My approach is always less is more. Aesthetics should never be about doing more for the sake of it. It’s about making considered decisions that complement your features and support your long-term goals.

Your treatment plan may involve one treatment, several treatments over time, or sometimes simply focusing on your skincare and skin health first.

There is no pressure to have treatment at your consultation.

It’s about understanding your face, understanding your options and creating a plan that’s right for you.

One treatment I really recommend thinking about as we head into winter? Skin boosters.

And no, I’m not talking about adding volume or changing the shape of your face.

Winter can be really hard on our skin. Cold weather outside, central heating inside, less humidity in the air, all of this can leave your skin feeling drier, tighter and looking a little dull.

This is where I love skin boosters.

They’re designed to improve the quality and hydration of the skin rather than change your features. They can help give the skin that fresher, healthier-looking glow and improve the overall feel and texture of the skin.

And I think they’re particularly nice going into winter because we’re not just thinking about how our skin looks today, we’re supporting the skin through a season that can be quite challenging for it.

Of course, skincare is still really important. A skin booster isn’t a replacement for a good skincare routine, I see it as something that can complement it.

THE PERFECT LIP ISN’T A TEMPLATE

Creating beautiful lips isn’t simply about adding volume. It’s about looking at the lips as a whole, their shape, proportions, symmetry, definition, movement and how they sit within the rest of the face.

For this client, the goal wasn’t a dramatic change. She wanted a refresh — slightly more definition, a subtle increase in volume and, most importantly, improved hydration.

Her lips already had a lovely shape and enough structure to take Restylane Kysse, so we could enhance what was naturally there rather than changing the overall appearance.

The result? Soft, hydrated, defined lips with a subtle boost in volume, still completely her, just refreshed.

I started my nursing career in Australia, where I lived for 12 years. During my time there, I was given an amazing opportunity to work as an Aesthetic Injector with Laser Clinics Australia, gaining invaluable experience and working alongside an incredible team in one of Sydney’s leading clinics.

I had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s leading brands, learn from experienced injectors and develop my skills in an ever-evolving industry.

Now, I’m back in my hometown of Bolton with my beautiful baby girl, surrounded by my family, and have opened my own space 🤍

I’m continuing to grow, learn and develop as an injector, always striving to provide the best possible treatments for my clients. Aesthetics is constantly evolving, and I truly love being part of an industry where there is always more to learn.

Your injectables are only as good as your skincare

I know I talk about this a lot… but there’s a reason.

You can spend thousands on injectables, but if you’re not looking after your skin, you’re missing a huge part of the picture.

Your skincare doesn’t need to be complicated or involve 15 different products. It’s about finding the right products for your skin and being consistent with them.

Injectables are one piece of the puzzle, skincare is another part that helps bring it all together and maintain those results.

Because if I’m going to recommend skincare to my clients, I want to be using it myself too.
