Not my work!!! Long post coming.
BUT eventually we did it! We got there!
So this lovely lady had nose filler done elsewhere. She went to the person to tell them somethings not right nearly a week later. They sent her off and said wait give it time swelling etc etc.
She then went to A&E which they didn’t no what to do. She contacted me the day after on a Sunday at 9am and as soon as I saw it I demanded she must come see me asap! I was horrified that someone can leave this?!
First off filler needs to be monitored, taken time and thought about especially the nose. No matter where you train or how you train you need to ensure you understand complications because no day or week course can prepare you for this!
Anyways I saw this lovely lady and as soon as I did I injected dissolver to dissolve the filler as it was causing extreme pain and swelling as you can see I’m sure she had an occlusion and leaving this can end up with dead tissues. However I didn’t do the work so trying to figure out where the filler was to the swelling was a little difficult and with the extreme pain it was causing it was hard. Many messages, visits, doctors visits and antibiotics later we are there! 💜
No course should ever allow you to do foundation and advance filler at once!!
So please any client do you research and understand where you’re going and ensure they are complications and first aid trained. Also ensure a first aid is at hand at all time!!
This could all have been avoided with proper emergency protocols in place by the injector!
