Two very different horses doing a fantastic job and both thoroughly enjoying their days, riders too! The diversity is definately one reason I love my job so much!

Going beyond surface-level bodywork to train in advanced techniques to release fascia, help regulate the nervous system and restore movement.

Neuro-Myofascial Release and Advanced Myofascial Massage are hands-on therapies that focus on the horse's fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles, nerves, organs, and joints) and how restrictions within that system can affect movement, comfort, and performance.

Neuro-myofascial techniques specifically consider the relationship between nerves and fascia. This may help:
🐴 Reduce sensitivity in restricted areas.
🐴 Improve body awareness (proprioception).
🐴 Encourage more balanced movement patterns.

By addressing restrictions before they become significant issues, horses may:
✅️ Find lateral work easier.
✅️ Show better engagement from behind.
✅️ Experience improved flexibility and suppleness.
⚡️ Improve topline development.
⚡️ Encourage more balanced weight distribution.
⚡️ Support healthier movement and stance

Master Monty had his post LeMieux Grassroots Championships Badminton Horse Trials session today at Caroline Middleton Middleton Livery. Alongside him there were a range of horses and ponies from across the ages and disciplines, sorry I didn't manage to get pictures of you all! Always a lovely day in Northants, finishing the day with some incredible released from Ailine Crooks boy Vernon.
