A little reminder about our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy 🤍

We completely understand that plans can change and, whenever possible, we will always do our best to help. 🌿

As an independent clinic, each appointment is a dedicated period of time reserved specifically for you. Providing adequate notice gives us the opportunity to offer that appointment to another patient who may be waiting.

To keep things fair for everyone:

• We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment
• Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours will result in the booking deposit being forfeited
• Deposits are also forfeited for missed appointments 🚫

This policy helps us manage clinic time fairly, maintain appointment availability and continue giving every patient the time and attention their appointment deserves.

The sun isn’t the enemy. Unprotected exposure is. ☀️

Sunlight plays a normal part in everyday life, but repeated unprotected UV exposure can contribute to premature skin ageing, uneven pigmentation and visible changes in skin quality over time. 🌤️

A few simple habits make a difference:

• Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning 🧴
• Reapply when needed, especially with prolonged outdoor exposure
• Don’t forget areas like the neck, chest and ears
• Use hats, sunglasses and shade alongside sunscreen 🕶️
• Remember that UV exposure can still occur on cloudy days

The goal isn’t to avoid the sun completely. It’s to enjoy it more responsibly and protect your skin consistently.

Daily SPF is one of the most important steps in any long-term skin health routine. 🤍

What does it mean to be consultation-led? ✨

At Floresthétique, having a treatment menu doesn’t mean you need to know exactly which treatment to choose.

For new patients especially, I often recommend starting with a consultation so we can look at the bigger picture. 🩺

A consultation allows us to consider:

• Your skin and individual concerns
• Your medical history and current medications
• Previous treatments and how you responded to them
• Your goals and expectations
• Which treatment options may be appropriate for you
• Expected outcomes, limitations and potential risks
• Whether treatment is appropriate at all

Because what works for someone you see online, a celebrity, or even a friend may not necessarily be the right approach for you.

Sometimes the best plan is a different treatment from the one you originally had in mind. Sometimes it may be a staged or combination approach. And sometimes, the most appropriate recommendation is not to treat.

For me, being consultation-led means assessment comes before treatment. 🤍

My role is to use clinical assessment, professional judgement and your individual circumstances to help guide you towards the most appropriate options, rather than simply following trends or choosing a treatment from a menu.
