Just a little update from me

My diary has been incredibly busy lately (thank you so much 🥹), and I’ve realised I need to make a few changes to how I work so I can look after myself properly and give everyone the relaxed, unrushed experience you deserve

Truthfully, I’ve been working really long days for a very long time and my body has been telling me (again for a long time) it’s time for a change. I also want to make sure I’m protecting proper time at home with my family — because a well-rested, happy me means better appointments for you too

As my salon is based at home, I’ll now be working within set hours, and appointments will be a little more limited — especially evenings and weekends.

Where you can, it really helps me if you book your next few appointments in advance rather than last minute — it means I’m not squeezing people in around already-full days
Please also bear with me if I don’t reply straight away — I’ll be picking up messages within my working hours as I get used to this new way of working 🤣 (or I’m most probably sorting out grandparents)

I’ve got something exciting to share… I’m teaming up and supporting Chenery Fitness

Self-care has always been something I’m incredibly passionate about. I’ve spent years navigating ups and downs with my own body, and it’s taught me that everyone deserves to prioritise themselves, make time for themselves, and learn to truly love who they are—inside and out. Growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone, and that’s where the magic begins.

I’ve been following Tom and Sarah’s journey for a while now, especially after seeing the confidence their clients gain through their programmes. The dedication they pour into transforming not just their own lives, but the lives of others, is something I have huge respect for.

My role? Capturing you at your absolute best. Every drop of sweat, every ounce of determination, every milestone—you’ve worked for it, and I’ll be there to document it and celebrate it with you.

Tom and Sarah has kindly opened the doors of their gym for me to photograph their clients, male and female, so fitness and workout shoots are officially launching this June… watch this space!

Walking around the gym today genuinely inspired me. With my own fears around injury after spinal fusion, seeing a gentleman in a wheelchair absolutely smashing his workout reminded me—limits are often just in our minds.
Who knows… I might just be joining the Chenery Fitness family 💪

Just to let you know my phone lines and internet are down still and have been all week — no idea exactly when it’ll be fixed but we’re looking at a minimum of a couple more days!
