First time lip filler 💉

I love doing lips for the first time, the tissues are easy to manipulate and we can really create the shape we’re looking for, like this beautiful heart shape pout. ❤️

If you have previous fillers or filler migration this can be harder to achieve.

Why?

💉 Space - If your tissue space is already almost at capacity it doesn’t give us much room to adapt the shape.
💉 Migration - If you have previous filler that has migrated this can cause a shelf above the lip. This means when we try to lift the lip or put more filler in the weight of that shelf will keep pushing the lip back down.
💉 Lumps - If you have uneven or lumps lips from previous fillers the shape can look distorted. We can work around some lumps if they are quite minimal but if there is a lot it can be hard.

So what can you do? My advice would be to dissolve. I know it sounds scary! But sometimes we don’t even need to dissolve the whole lip, just the border to be able to achieve the look we’re going for. 👄

My client has put off getting her brows done for so long…
Why?

Reasons:
😱 Scared she wouldn’t like them
📐 Didn’t really want to change her shape
⬆️ Likes a bit of an arch but didn’t want them rounded
🖊️ Didn’t want the to different to what she was used to

So, we used her usual drawn on brows to create a stencil after measurements. We stuck with the hairstroke/lamination look and went with the darkest pigment. ❤️

She will be back in 4 weeks time for a second procedure where we can add more if needed. More thickness, more depth etc. I think she looks amazing and they suit her face so well. I cannot wait to see how they heal up 🥰

This lady has previously had just 1 session on laser removal on her old brows with Kelly Ling to get them ready for a brand new set ✨

We opted for a hair stroke brow which we can make adjustments to on her second appointment if needed. We still had to keep in mind that there were still some areas where the old Pmu had been that the laser is unable to break down fully (although this is very slight).

I think they have turned out amazing. She is over the moon to finally have a nice set of brows again. So happy in fact that she’s booked straight in for her eyeliner too 🥰

1: Does lip filler hurt? 🙅‍♀️

Answer: We use numbing cream and advanced techniques to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the process. Most clients describe it as a quick pinch! Or you can opt for lidocaine injections if you prefer.

2: Will everyone know I got filler?🤫

Answer: Our goal is always enhancement, not exaggeration. We work with your natural anatomy to create a subtle, beautiful result that looks like you, just refreshed. Buuutttt… if you would like a more lifted or obvious filler treatment we can do that too. It completely depends on your desires.

3: How long do fillers last? ⏳

Answer: Lip filler contains Hyaluronic Acid which your body naturally breaks down. Typically, results last 6-12 months. Maintenance appointments are key! Facial fillers can last a bit longer, due to the filler viscosity they can take longer to break down.
