Emma will be good now for 3-6 months when I will just touch the colour up on our express service!

•Outgrown dye of copper blonde making the hair look dull and lifeless and not blending those greys at all.

•Lots of dark natural through the back.

•Lots of beautiful silver through the front.

I mimicked what the hair was doing using highlights and lowlights! Placement is 🔑

Root glossed to shimmer those greys rather than covering them which helped the blend further and meaning she can go longer between appointments.

Let’s talk box dye !

I first did my guests hair in March- we had 3 things going on;

1st band natural
2nd band (majority of the hair) box dye
3rd band some old blonde/ blue ends ( swipe for last picture)

The aim was to just put some ribbons of lighter colour in her hair. The integrity of the hair is my priority and I managed to lift her safely 2/3 shades. There was some exposed orange from the box dye which we worked with and created a copper caramel balayage (swipe 2nd to last pic)

2nd session with this lovely lady and pow wow look at how far we’ve come from March ! I was over the moon with the results. Patience is key and that box dye did not want to lift but a few hours of developing safely with help from the amazing bond builder epres and voila !

It’s so important that your honest with your stylist about what’s on your hair so that we can advise what’s best and be honest about your end results.

The goal was lived in but as bright as I could get it in one sitting leaving some dimension for that pop! We opted for caramel/ golden tones which compliment her skin tone.

Before picture from a few weeks ago when I cut it.

My client liked her natural colour but just felt it was to bright and old for her - her words not mine 😆

I didn’t do anything to heavy as this was the first time having her hair coloured for years and what she really wanted was a soft blended result without being maintained every 6 weeks. We absolutely love her natural face frame so we left that out.

All Original Mineral UK used and some waves added with my ghd curl tong.

Absolutely loved the results, she was over the moon !
