Who else thought “a week off” meant actually switching off? 😂☀️💻

The reality of being self-employed... even when I’m officially on holiday, there’s always something that needs doing.

So today’s office is a little different... laptop open, end-of-month totals being sorted, but at least I’m doing it sat in the sunshine! ☀️😎

Running your own business means you never really clock off. There’s always paperwork, accounts, messages, stock, bookings or admin to keep on top of. It’s all part of the job that nobody really sees behind the scenes.

Would I change it? Not a chance. ❤️

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m finishing these figures so I can get back to enjoying the rest of my week off... with hopefully a lot less laptop and a lot more sunshine!

I’m officially taking a little break and will be enjoying some well-earned time off until Monday 3rd August.

Next week is a very special one as I’ll be celebrating a milestone birthday... the big 5️⃣0️⃣! 🥂🎂

Before I switch off, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your continued support, loyalty and friendship. I’m also incredibly grateful for the lovely birthday cards, gifts and kind wishes I’ve already received – you’ve truly made me feel so special. ❤️

I’m looking forward to celebrating with my family and friends over the next few days, enjoying some well-earned rest, and returning refreshed and ready to make you all feel fabulous from Monday 3rd August.

A little update from me… ❤️

Due to family commitments, I’ll be making a small change to my mobile hairdressing hours.

My new mobile hours will be:
✨ Monday: 9:00am – 9:00pm
✨ Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:30pm

These changes will allow me to achieve a better balance between work and family life while continuing to provide the best service possible.

If these changes affect your regular appointment, I’ll be in touch with you personally over the next few days to discuss alternative arrangements.

⚽️ Yes… I watched the England game last night. 😴☕️

Was it worth the late night? Absolutely! 🙌

Somehow I’ve managed to drag myself out of bed, fuel up with caffeine, and I’m working as normal today. 💪😂

If I look a little tired, just blame those 11 extra minutes the nerves, and the fact I was emotionally invested! 🤣

So if you need me today, I’m here as always… just don’t expect me to relive every moment of the match until after my first (or third) coffee! ☕️😂

I’m now unavailable as I’m spending the weekend in Bournemouth with my daughter, Phoebe, and her cheer friends as they compete at FC Internationals. It’s the final competition of the season, and I’m incredibly excited to be supporting her teams.
