A moment for this beautiful bride 😍

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of doing one of my oldest friend’s hair for her wedding day. The day was absolutely perfect and beautiful. I cried, laughed and danced all day into the night. Here’s to many years of happiness to them 🩷

My beautiful sister got married on Saturday and naturally I got no photos of her hair so these are the best I could find. Plus a pic of mine and my other sisters hair 🩷

And yes we did get the bus to the ceremony 🚌😂

Gypsophila dreams 😍

As you might already tell I LOVE this gorgeous little flower. It is so tiny but makes such a big impact, whether it’s a scattering or a statement piece it’s always a winner.

The best part is it is so easy to work with, it doesn’t need wiring and it’s so light it won’t weigh your head down once it’s in.

Wedding Season 2025 is in full swing, so apologies I haven’t been posting very much but between weddings, the salon and home life it has been busy. But I am still here and still loving creating these beautiful updos 🩷

Trial ➡️ wedding day

Amy hadn’t quite decided what if anything she was having in her hair for the trial but I think the veil, comb and gyp finished her style off perfectly.

Part 2

Your big day is not far away, so what do you need to do for your hair before then?

~ A last trim about 3-6 weeks before, you want your hair in good condition but dependant on your hair style not severely blunt ends.
~ Keep up with your weekly hair masks.
~ Depending on your colour, I usually advise 1-3 weeks before your wedding.
~ Extension refit and new hair (if necessary)

I send my brides a prep email near the time of their wedding, this includes how to prep their hair ready for me along with lots of little tips and tricks I have learnt along the way. 🤓

From the moment I started hairdressing I fell in love with occasion hair. 13 years ago I had my first wedding, I was so nervous but enjoyed every second of it, and that's when I knew I had found my passion. I am so fortunate that I have been able to turn my passion into a career.

I love developing my skills and that's why 6 years ago I completed a makeup course, it was a natural addition and I enjoy it just as much.

Gypsophila 🌸

One of my favourite flowers as a hair accessory, you don't need a lot to make an impact, as you can see here!

My top tip for fresh flowers it to have them wired separately by your florist, it makes it much easier to place them in your hair then.
