This page is to (1) inform my family and those interested in my transformation from fat to fit (2) to shame Simon Fooks so he stays on his health journey.
I started this journey after a fright result from a yearly medical on thu 21st Oct 21
- blood pressure 160 / 100
- cholesterol- triglycerides 3.9 aka high
- liver abnormal
My starting weight was 110kgs and waist measurement 119 cm.
Since then I have transformed my diet
- no alcohol
- no sugar
- no meat
- no cheese
- no crisps
- no coffee
And I am doing a fasting diet. Here are my rules
- Mon to Fri : I eat breakfast and lunch
- Sat & Sun : I have an eating window of 3 hours.
Tonight I am going out for a meal at 8 pm so I won’t eat anything til the meal.
My weigh in stats today are
- blood pressure normal
- waiste is now 117cm
- weight has dropped to 105kg 5kg or 11lb drop
My exercise routine
- Mon to Fri - I walk at least twice per day - I do the beach hut loop
- Sat & Sun - I walk at least once for an hour
And how do I feel
- surprisingly I am not to hungry
- and I am fine not drinking

Last weeks walks
Breakfast : 2 boiled eggs
Lunch : macaroni cheese microwave meal
Two pints of black current juice
Two sugarless earl grey tea with milk
109kg
Breakfast = boiled eggs with toast
Lunch = marmite sandwich + cheese beetroot carrot and red pepper salad + overnight oats
Dinner = zero as I have diarrhoea
17 and a half stone : intake today
Breakfast = overnight oats
Lunch = egg sandwich - 1 carrot + quarter cucumber + 1 red pepper + small bit of broccoli
Dinner = two tins of mackerel + 1 medium avo
Well I am 52 now - over weight and unhealthy for sure - and ready to slow down my body clock.
Sun 16th Oct 2011 - FOOD(Breakfast:2 weetabix; Lunch: coke and chips; Diner: chicken fahitas) EXERCISE(walked to reef restaurant at boscombe peir - round trip 3 miles....rest day)
SUNDAY 16th Oct 2011 - WEIGHT(14stone 11lb) LLOYDS PHARMACY GADGETS score normal ie (Blood Pressure = 122/88; Cholesterol = 4.2; Diabetes = 5.5)
Sat 15th Oct 2011 - FOOD (Breakfast: 3 egg omlet; slice of toast; coffee; Lunch: Nuts; cup of tea; Diner: horlicks drink; apple) EXERCISE(2 hours of lawn strimming - arms and back are hurting)
Fri 14th Oct 2011 - FOOD at Sam and Nina's Starwars night (chicken stew and mash + slice of cake and doughnut)
Fri 14th Oct 2011 - FOOD(Breakfast: two weetabix; Lunch: Banana and two apples and some mixed nuts; Afternoon snack: more mixed nuts) Dinner: still full of mixed nuts; 500ml bottle of coke "bad") EXERCISE (3 hours of housework) MINDFULNESS(20mins meditation)
Thur 13th Oct 2011 - FOOD (Breakfast:two weetabix; Lunch:two bananas; two salmon fillets Dinner: veggi burger and chips for dinner washed down with soda water and lime;) EXERCISE(2 hours stand up paddling on beautiful glassy waves about 3 ft high plus cycled up the zigzag)
