💛 Dolly. What a woman. What a legacy

I grew up with country music. My mum and dad both loved it, and I have such happy memories of dancing around the house with them to Dolly’s music.

So this one feels personal.

But Dolly gave us so much more than music.

💫She knew who she was.
💫She knew where she came from.
💫She never forgot her roots.

She understood hard work, humility and the importance of staying true to yourself — even when life was tough.

💕And I loved the way she owned being a woman💕

She could be feminine and formidable. Kind and strong. Ambitious and generous.

And when people tried to reduce her to a stereotype, she had the perfect response:

"I'm a dumb blonde. Well, I'm not dumb and I'm not blonde either." 😉

She didn't shrink.

💎She shone.💎

And then she used that light to bring joy, opportunity, hope and happiness to so many others.

That, for me, is such a powerful lesson.

Because this is at the heart of what In Shine Out means to me.

I want women to know that their power doesn't come from becoming someone they're not.

It comes from knowing who they are.

👌Knowing their strengths.
👌Knowing their values.
👌Owning their story.
👌Trusting what they bring.
👌And having the courage to let it shine.

Dolly seemed to understand that beautifully.

She didn't need to be less of herself to make space for others.

She became more of herself — and made space for others to shine too.

What a legacy. 💛

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the light and the lessons.

Be you. Know your worth. Stay kind. Work hard. And shine.✨

Sometimes the hardest season of life isn't when everything falls apart. It's when everything is changing... and you don't yet know what you're changing into.

So many of the incredible women I work with are standing in this place right now.

🦋A career transition.

🦋An empty nest.

🦋A relationship ending or evolving.

🦋A business growing in a new direction.

🦋Turning 40, 50 or 60 and asking, "What do I really want now?"

It's what we call the liminal space– the place between what was and what's next.

And if I'm honest, it's rarely neat. It's not wrapped up with a pretty bow🎁

It can feel confusing, uncomfortable and even lonely.

But here's what I've learned, both personally and through coaching...

This isn't the time to panic because you haven't figured it all out.

⏰️This is the time to become curious.

Instead of looking outside yourself for the answers, gently turn inward.

Ask yourself:

✨ What do I want this next chapter of my life to feel like?
✨ What brings me alive now?
✨ What am I ready to leave behind?
✨ Who am I becoming?

🦋Think of a butterfly🦋 inside the chrysalis, it doesn't look beautiful or organised. It's messy. It's changing. It's letting go of one form before another can emerge.

Why do we expect our own transformation to be any different?
You don't need every answer today.

Have a vision for the future, but keep your focus on Now & Next.

❓️What's the next conversation?

❓️What's the next brave decision?

❓️What's the next tiny action that moves you closer to the life you want?

👣One step.

👣One day.

👣One choice at a time.

As you move forward, you'll naturally release the people, beliefs, habits and expectations that no longer fit who you're becoming.
You don't have to rush through this season.
You don't have to prove you've got it all together.
You simply have to trust that becoming takes time.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop trying to return to the person you used to be.....and start giving yourself permission to become the person you're here to be.

At InShineOut we believe
💛There is another way. 💛

It Starts With Us

We often talk about wanting more respect, healthier relationships and people who honour our boundaries. But sometimes we have to ask ourselves a difficult question:

How am I teaching people to treat me?

When we avoid speaking up because we want to be liked, say "yes" when we really mean "no", or accept behaviour that doesn't sit right with us, we aren't just abandoning ourselves—we're also removing the opportunity for others to learn.

Every time we stay silent instead of expressing our needs, we unintentionally enable the behaviour we wish would change.

Personal responsibility isn't about blame. It's about recognising the part we play in creating the relationships and environments around us.

We live in a world where cancelling plans at the last minute, changing commitments and not following through has become almost normal. Yet trust isn't built on good intentions—it's built on consistency.

If you say yes, let it be a wholehearted commitment.

If you say no, allow it to remain a loving and respectful no.

When your words and actions align, people learn they can trust you. More importantly, you begin to trust yourself.

Before responding, pause.

Think.

Choose intentionally.

Ask yourself, Is this aligned with what I truly want?

The way we show up teaches others what to expect from us. When we become more conscious of our choices, our boundaries and our commitments, we don't just transform our own lives—we invite those around us to rise too.

Real change doesn't start with everyone else.

It starts with each of us taking responsibility for how we choose to show up in the world.

What learning am I depriving someone else of by not honouring my own needs, speaking my truth, or holding a healthy boundary?"

What is one boundary or commitment you could honour today that would help others understand how you deserve to be treated?

My heart is so full after our very first Beauty by the Beach. 💛

A huge thank you to every wonderful woman who joined us. You didn't just come along—you helped create such a warm, uplifting evening filled with laughter, connection and beautiful conversations.

For me, it was never just about skincare. Yes, I love seeing glowing skin, but what brings me the greatest joy is watching someone look in the mirror and smile because they like what they see. My dream is that every woman feels that way—not just about her reflection, but about who she is on the inside too.

Thank you for believing in our vision and being part of the beginning. A special thank you to the lovely Geraldine for bringing this dream to life with me.

This is just the start, and we can't wait to welcome you back over the coming months for more moments of self-care, friendship and celebrating our inner and outer beauty. 🤍🌊✨

✨ Thought for the Day ✨

Whatever life is asking of you right now, don't lose your sense of humour and don't lose hope.

Humour reminds us not to take every challenge so seriously. It creates space to breathe, to lighten the load, and to remember that difficult moments are only part of the story.

Hope keeps us moving forward when the path isn't yet clear. It whispers, "Keep going. Better days are coming."

Together, hope and humour are powerful companions. One lifts your heart, the other lights your way.

So today, find something to smile about, even if it's small. And hold onto hope, even if it's only a tiny spark.

The world needs your light. ✨

✨ A LITTLE ABOUT ME ✨
For those who are new here, welcome.
I'm Sharon and InshineOut was created from a passion for helping women reconnect with their confidence, purpose, and inner strength.

💖I believe we are all capable of so much more than we sometimes give ourselves credit for💖

Life isn't about being perfect. It's about learning, growing, overcoming challenges, and becoming the leader of your own life.

One of the values I live by is grit and grace.

💫Grit gives us the courage to keep going when things feel difficult.
💫Grace reminds us to be kind to ourselves and others along the journey.

To me, true beauty isn't defined by appearance. It's measured by character, resilience, kindness, authenticity, and the impact we have on those around us.

👌My mission is simple: to encourage women to recognise their worth, trust their voice, step into their power, and shine from the inside out.
🙏Thank you for being part of this community. 💛

Tell me, what does being the leader of your own life mean to you?

From Frazzled to Peaceful 🌹✨

Yesterday, I asked a client to describe her experience of a Rose Goddess Glow treatment in just three words...

Arrival: Frazzled
During: Safe, cocooned, aromatic
After: Peaceful

This is why I love offering this treatment.

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, give more, and move faster, Rose Goddess Glow is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to yourself.

A nurturing holistic experience designed to help you release tension, restore balance, and reconnect with a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is give yourself permission to be held, supported, and deeply cared for.

🌹 From frazzled to peaceful.
🌹 From doing to being.
🌹 From depleted to restored.

If your mind feels busy and your body is asking for rest, this may be exactly what you need.

What one word best describes how you're feeling today? 💕
