As a child, I lived through trauma I never should have experienced. I survived my father taking his own life. I lost my mum to cancer. There were times I had no real home and found myself sofa surfing, wondering where life was taking me. There were moments when everything felt uncertain and the future looked bleak.👌🏽

But our past does not get the final say.

Every setback taught me resilience. Every loss taught me compassion. Every difficult chapter shaped the woman I am today.🧡

If you’re reading this while going through your own struggles, please don’t believe that today defines your tomorrow. Your story is still being written. You are stronger than you realise, even if you can’t see it yet.💪🏾

I stand here today not because life was easy, but because I kept going. Remember, nothing is impossible.✌🏽
