Side note: this post is about 1/2% of the clients I encounter, but it REALLY messes with my head. I try so hard to be the best for my 99% amazing clients

I started my day having a confrontation with a client about a fee that is owed to me - as per my policy that is agreed upon when appointments are booked. BUT
It isn’t ACTUALLY about the money, that’s not why it upset me, it’s because as a service provider why am I treated with far less respect than anyone else???

If you can’t afford a service that is a luxury, do not book it in the first place.

Don’t then disrespect me by saying you’re going to pay the cancellation fee and then argue with me when I’m asking for payment??? this has happened twice this month, I get it from a broke uni student (doesn’t make it any better) but a grown woman… ?

Not to mention the appointment was cancelled about 5 minutes before the start time of the appointment BTW!

Genuinely the only time I get bothered by cancellations is when it is so close to the start of your appointment. I am SOOOO easy going, I’ve let people pay me a few days after their appt to save cancelling so close to the appt start time, as they don’t get paid until then, I am literally SO CHILL so it annoys me when people are so RUDE !!!! I don’t want clients like that, please take ur business elsewhere. Twice in the last month!
