I’ve been thinking all week about how lucky am I when you trust me to hold your brand new baby, to have a cuddle, to give you a minute, for a bathroom break, to pop shoes on or off.

*TODDLER NATURE ART*
Join our little artists on Fridays outside in Brackley Park. This weeks theme was creating a duck using cardboard rolls (with holes for legs/fingers), pre-made heads for colour in and then collecting feathers and leaves for wings and tails!

We have a book or two at the beginning of each class that links us into our activities for the class. Love to see the interest, curiosity and engagement. The interest in turning a page or explore what’s behind a window or door.

Reading is good for toddler because :
🗣️ Builds language & vocabulary – hearing lots of words helps toddlers develop communication and understanding.
🧠 Supports brain development – stories help children practise memory, concentration, prediction and making connections.
👀 Develops attention & listening – sharing a book encourages toddlers to look, listen and follow a simple story.
❤️ Supports social & emotional development – books introduce feelings, relationships and different perspectives, helping children develop empathy.
🤗 Strengthens connection & bonding – reading together creates lovely moments of shared attention, interaction and closeness.

Using cereal boxes, leaves, glue and a sharpie.

🍁 Cut out little wellies and hats from your card
🍁 collect leaves, talk about colours and textures, sizes, trees, life cycle, and more!
🍁 glue on as you wish
🍁 add eyes and mouth (googly eyes if you have them - or not to reduce unnecessary plastic)

Optional :
- colour in the boots and hats before glueing on
- add more artistic flare like wind, a tree, clouds etc
- add more friends with different colours.

Summer Holidays incoming!
I’ll be focusing on my fam for the next few weeks but September classes are open!! Join me for baby massage, TummyTime, Nature Play and later in Sept Explorers for crawlers is back!

Enjoy the sunshine, outdoors, sensory stimulation and family time. Try and carve out some time for yourself or with a friend too if possible!
