Purple shampoo neutralises yellow/brassy tones in blonde, highlighted, grey or bleached hair. Purple sits opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so it makes blonde look cooler, brighter and less yellow.
Important: Purple shampoo won’t really remove orange/brassy tones. Orange usually needs a blue-based product instead.
