After 9 years most of you will know that this week I am closing my doors .
Thank you all for the years of gossip and laughter . For allowing me into your lives. Being with you through the excitement of weddings and babies , the ups and downs of day to day life and your saddest times too 😔 . Some of you were with me from the beginning in my kitchen , during the awful Xmas of 2018 , the goat dying on the kitchen floor , losing Wilson , surviving lockdown with all of the rules ! Then there was moving in to the cabin , my wedding, the house sale and the house move …… wasn’t that a rollercoaster ?! I don’t think there’s really been a dull moment !
From opening my doors in April 2017 with £10 nails I was instantly flooded with customers being one of the only home techs that did the then current craze of dipping powder and the journey swept me along . The industry has changed so much since then and I have to say I really miss the way it was, when allergies were rare and AI didn’t produce unrealistic ideas . I certainly won’t miss the phrase ,’ Biab journey.’ Ick 😂
When we train we have it constantly drummed into us about the possibility of repetitive strain and, it turns out that no matter how hard you try the chances are it’s going to get you at some point . So , here I am with a dodgy elbow and achey shoulders hanging up my e-file . Maybe not for forever but at least for this next chapter . Thank you so much to each and every person that has come through my door, not just for nails but tans too ….. of which there must be over a thousand of you . I will miss my regulars and our 3 weekly updates hugely but will welcome regular updates from you all maybe over coffee or wine 😉Big love you you all . Forever grateful for your custom .
