Hi, let me introduce myself to those who don't know me, yet. I am Monika, I come from Poland, although I have lived in England for over 11 years now! I came here just after finishing university in Poland. I have been studying interior design. It was the time when I already knew working on projects is not my thing and decided to look for something else. After years of trying new things and working in many warehouses I thought about training in doing nails. I had my first course done in Poland and decided to continue because I really got into it! Then lockdown happened and we all remember how it was. I used time at home to practice my new skills and as soon as I could I went on another course, this time in England, it was with Agati • Accredited Nail Training • Tunnel tips • Leeds📍. It was brilliant! The next step was to get VTCT level 2 qualification, which I did at The Beauty Academy Official I started my nail technician career about 4 years ago by joining a very busy salon in Leeds, The Beauty Assembly which gave me a priceless experience that I am very grateful for. I have opened a little home salon in Shipley that I worked at one day a week and managed to get my own client base. I continued to work and learn until I had my baby boy🩵. I went on maternity leave and as you probably know my life changed completely. I knew driving to Leeds and back will take too much time. I was a bit unsure how I would get back to work and I was considering multiple options and PAULINA nails & beauty💅🏽🌸 SHIPLEY/BAILDON decided to contact me just about the time I was thinking of contacting her. It was meant to be. We decided to join our forces and from this October you will find me at her beautiful salon in Shipley every Wednesday and Friday. The new chapter begins and I am very excited to meet plenty of new people and work my best.
