We charge them because when someone doesn’t show up, that appointment time is gone forever.

We can’t refill it.
We can’t earn it back.

We were there.
We opened the shop.
We turned on the lights and heating.
We set up and waited for you.

And while that chair sits empty, the rent, bills, and business costs don’t stop.

It might not seem like a big deal… but a few no-shows later and suddenly we’ve worked an 8-hour day with no income.

Most service providers hate asking for cancellation fees, but the reality is, if we don’t, we can’t keep the doors open.

Small businesses are already feeling the pressure.
