At the start of today I was convinced I hadn't really done much in May. In fact, I nearly didn't do a monthly photo dump because I didn't think I'd have enough photos to share. Turns out it's taken me all day to choose which ones to use. 🤣

This month has included
✨ A sleepover with my niece
✨ A surprise return home from my nephew after travelling since January
✨ Watching Showaddywaddy with my dad and being transported straight back to my childhood
✨ Lunch dates with a friend who also happens to be one of my team
✨ Finally, finding the curtains for the living room (only took forever 🤣)
✨ Starting the staircase renovation (Jamie deserves a weekend off soon)
✨ A fabulous 1940s weekend at Cobbles and Clay
✨ A bottomless brunch for Danielle's last rodeo hen do, dressed as cowgirls 🤠
✨ And finishing the evening with Nutella crumpets because apparently that's the correct way to end a day involving cocktails 🍸
✨️ Watching my niece in her Bolt Academy musical (Sister Act), she smashed it as always ❤️

Oh, and because this is Yorkshire, we somehow managed to have hailstones and a 30-degree heatwave in the same month. The heat even melted my candles.

Just family, friends, laughter, home projects, making memories, and plenty of reasons to be grateful.

When I look back like that, May was actually pretty special.

Now let's see what June has in store. 💙
