Let down for makeup on my own wedding day....
When the makeup artist gets married?! What do you do?!
Well I decided to book someone... however she cancelled my trial with a bogus reason, then re booked me and i wanted weds the 5th but typed 6th so she put me in on the thursday...... then cancelled my entire booking and refunded me 1 hour before on the 3rd attempt of the trial booking 😂😂😂
I took this as a sign, decided id save the cahs and just do my bridal party myself!
When it came to it, one of my bridesmaids insisted on booking herself an artist to at least save me some extra time. Here comes 💖
After doing the rest of the bridal party, i really could not be bothered doing my own, so put it on hollys toes that I wanted my wedding makeup doing... with no trial.... and only 45 MINS to go 😅😅😅
We tag teamed it, i threw on my own lips and lashes to save abit of time, and we did it! I was so happy with the look, enjoyed sitting in the chair myself, I really needed that 😆
Moral of the story, its not all about the 10s of thousands of followers and shiny pristine social media posts like the first artist I booked... glad it happened on my trial and not the big day!
Ofc I was always going to be ok, and was so lucky I had holly there on the morning, but have any of my regular girlys got a wedding nightmare tale, were you let down?! Lmk in the comments

Another year, another prom season 🩷🩷🩷
Honestly think this is my favourite time of year, making these young ladies feel beautiful, it’s often the first time they’ve ever had their makeup professionally done 🥹
Seeing all the gorgeous and colourful gowns they’ve chosen 🩷❤️🩷❤️
having real talk about what they want to do with the next chapter of their life, sharing my own life experiences of travelling and not knowing what I wanted to do for so long, it’s all so exciting 🥰

Weather has been hot hot and weve been getting prom queens painted and bridal parties glammed
we kept it nice and light and breathable, but locked it into place good with:
baking powder
infallible setting spray
My make up does NOT budge, no matter the weather huns!
