A delicate fine line rose for a very special Nan 🤍

Using the Rose which is also the June birth flower, we created this soft rose design with a few subtle wildflower details to keep it feminine, light and beautifully balanced. The word “Nan” is discreetly worked into the stem, so it feels personal without taking over the design.

Placed on the back of the arm, it sits so naturally with the shape of the body and keeps that really elegant, understated feel.

My client came to me with an inspiration image she loved — a delicate outline of a child’s profile combined with their birth flower.

So we took a photo of her little boy, traced his profile into a really simple fine line outline, worked through the sizing so we could keep his features recognisable, and then added his birth flower into the design.

The result is such a soft, personal fine line tattoo for her child — delicate enough to feel feminine, but with enough detail that you can still clearly see his little profile.
