Who knew when I started out as a one man band renting a back room in a nail salon on the high street that 24 years later I would be where I am now. For the last time we are closing our doors on a business that has over the years provided a living for 17 individuals. We’ve had an absolute blast. We’ve laughed and cried with many of you, sharing good times and bad and it’s never really felt like “a business” more of an extended group of friends.
Thank you all for coming back to us week after week, month after month and for an awful lot of you year after year !!! You gave us your trust and confidence even when some of those times were extremely challenging for us all including Covid and a recession and there isn’t a big enough “THANK YOU” in the world for what that means to us.

Those that would like to keep in touch, please do. It would be great to hear from you, you have my number. If not just message me here our private group will remain active.
And just a quick word about Debs…. I’ll keep it short, she’s been the most dependable and supportive colleague and friend you could ask for over the last 12 years even through crushing personal circumstances. Thank you is just not enough ❤️
Lastly, good luck to the new business that will be taking over.
As many of you know last year was an absolute beast for all of us at Quintessence and this has prompted us to make some changes.
The salon is going to be let to a brand new business for Queensbury.
Kirstie is now retired and Debs, Nick and myself are moving on with new adventures. These changes will be from August (unless disaster strikes) and as we know more I’ll post to keep you all updated.
But before you all start guessing at what it’s going to be .. all I will say is that it isn’t another hairdressers or barbers 🙂
All current bookings will still go ahead as normal :)
