My client came in telling me she fills her brows in every morning and wanted a look that matched her routine ✨

We went for ombré brows using Brovi Pigments | PMU roasted chestnut.

Although she initially wanted the darkest possible finish, we adjusted the tone so the healed result would complement her natural freckles and skin tone rather than overpower them. Going too deep with the shade on this skin type can sometimes heal a bit too heavy or saturated 🚨

Because these are permanent brows, they need to sit naturally on the face both bare and with makeup so we always keep that balance in mind when choosing depth ⚠️

Pigment choice is one of the MOST important parts of any permanent makeup treatment whether it’s Ombre Brows or Lip Blush 🤍

A lot of clients worry about….
❓“Will my brows go grey?”
❓“Will my lips heal too bright?”

The answer comes down to proper pigment selection, colour theory, and how the pigment is implanted into the skin! ⚠️

For both brows and lips, pigments are carefully chosen based on:
✅Skin tone & undertones
✅Skin type
✅Desired healed result
✅Any previous PMU or uneven tones

🚨 No two clients will heal the same, which is why permanent makeup should never be a “one colour fits all” treatment 🚨

✔ Pigments heal around 30–50% softer once fully healed
✔ Fresh PMU will always appear darker and more intense at first
✔ Healing takes several weeks — the true healed colour develops over time
✔ Correct pigment choice helps prevent unwanted tones like grey, red, orange, or overly bright healing
