The most luxurious thing about my service can’t be photographed 📸

It’s a word that’s thrown around a lot in the beauty industry. It’s often used to describe the things we can see - the decor, the drinks, the aesthetics and the little extras. Whilst those things can absolutely add to an experience, the longer I’ve been a nail technician, the more I’ve realised that the most luxurious parts of a service are often the things you can’t photograph.

For me, luxury is sitting down and knowing you’re in safe hands. It’s trusting your nail tech’s expertise completely, knowing your natural nails are being prioritised just as much as the finished result and having your preferences remembered without needing to repeat yourself every appointment.

It’s hearing “leave it with me” and genuinely being able to switch off. It’s attention to detail, consistency, reliability and feeling confident in the outcome before you’ve even left the chair.

Luxury isn’t questioning whether you’ve chosen the right person. It’s the confidence that comes with knowing your appointment will go exactly as expected, every single time.

Because whilst the result matters, the feeling matters too 🤍

Have we forgotten what actually suits us?

One thing social media has done brilliantly is give us endless inspiration, but I also think it’s made it much harder to figure out what we genuinely like ourselves.

Every day we’re shown new trends, new colours, new shapes and new “must-have” nails. It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s popular that we stop asking whether it actually suits us in the first place.

The longer I’ve been doing nails, the more I’ve realised that the most stylish clients aren’t necessarily the ones following every trend. They’re usually the ones who know exactly what works for them.

The client who always comes back to a classic red. The one who loves a French. The one who wears the same n**e every appointment because she knows it makes her feel her best.

Style isn’t about constantly reinventing yourself. It’s about understanding what suits you and wearing it with confidence.

Which is exactly why red nails never really go away. Every year they’re supposedly “back”, but were they ever gone? They’re timeless, flattering, elegant and somehow always manage to look relevant without needing a fancy new name every six months.

Maybe the goal isn’t finding the next trend.

Maybe it’s finding your thing and owning it ❤️

I think people massively underestimate how much undertones affect a n**e manicure. Sometimes the exact same shade can look creamy and tasteful on one person, then completely wash somebody else out.

That’s why I love the collection so much. The shades can be mixed and adjusted slightly so you can create a bespoke n**e that actually complements the person wearing it.

This mix ended up looking like the softest oat latte against her skin tone 🧋✨
