The ‘Lip Line Eraser Treatment’ that Patients keep requesting in my Clinic…

This area of concern is one of the most talked about within my clinic.

If you are over the age of 40 you may have noticed the skin becoming thinner around the mouth.

Fine lines have began to form even though you DO NOT smoke.

You start to look ‘Sad’ and the corners of the mouth are turned downwards.

There are a number of reasons for this - strong 💪 muscles around the mouth and neck dragging the face downwards, a decline 📉 in fat (volume) and the decline in collagen which makes the skin lax and crepey.

2mls of RHA1 & 1.2mls of RHA3 dermal filler was added to improve this patients concerns.

When You Are On A Journey With A Client…

It’s NEVER quick - please don’t rush it.

Expect slow progress at times - too quick and it could ruin the whole process.

This patient struggled with sun damage and pigmentation, we have come so far but we still have a little way to go.

Yes she could have had more invasive treatments to speed up this process but this comes with significant DOWNTIME which some people cannot do.

Then came the facial volume loss due to a little weight loss and the natural ageing process.

Dermal fillers were placed strategically to provide volume improvement and a smoother transition between areas reducing the ‘shadowing appearance’ to the face.

The last image is the patients OWN image (and yes she does have some makeup on) but doesn’t she ooze confidence - which is what these journeys are all about.
