We're mid school holidays and it's been a busy one in such a good way (hence the lack of info on here), but are home cooking a family roast and eating chocolate today.
You'll find me in St Fagans this week (on Thursday and Friday) with the so can't wait for that 😍

Unscented, so free from those extra allergens posed by essential oils, designed for my daughter, to be extra gentle 😍
Now, I'm not fussy with my soap because I know it's soap and it does the job. So I'll use the end bits, the soggy bits, the last pieces, the mashed together pieces that don't look so pretty. I'll even scrape the soap dish to use every last bit.
This weighs almost half a soap bar, so that's going to do quite a few hand washes, and it'll smooth out as I use it. So why not.
In my head, girl maths says it's a free bar. And I've definitely saved some soap from the bin 😍

The Citrus Burst soap bar is made with a blend of Olive oil, coconut oil and shae butter, with our own essential oil blend using lemon 🍋 lime 🍋🟩 and lemongrass!!!
It's been one of the faves from the beginning. One of the OGs.

There's a reason I stopped making bath bombs (it's been quite a while now) and there's a couple of clues in the video here, as I'm making the new batch of Citrus Burst Soap bars.
That reason was my health!!! After making every batch of bath bombs - and sometimes I'd be making multiple batches in a day, I'd notice a cough, quite a grumbly cough and I'd sometimes also feel unwell. And even after buying better masks, I still noticed a little difference. As an asthma sufferer, and a mum to two squids who also have asthma, maybe I'm more cautious and more aware. So I gave it a few months (maybe even a year or so) and it persevered. The respiratory staff noticed a difference too as I was going back to increase my medication and change inhaler routines. So I stopped.
I still wear protective equipment when making. Masks when using powders or because of fumes etc. Gloves and other precautions when using oils at high temperatures.
So we, as small batch makers, may not have factories, or Health and Safety Executives (except ourselves), but we still need to make sure we're doing it right. I've read some awful stories that have motivated me to be more strict with my procedures.
