Kim will be working Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday for the next 4 weeks.

As you can imagine, in the recent days we have been flooded with messages and appointment requests, especially with the latest announcements here in Wales, and we are sorry that we cannot write back.
2020 has been an exceedingly difficult year, not just for us but for everyone.
And from all of us at Kims, we would like to say thank you for your continued support during these strange times.
After a decade of trading at our salon on Nolton Street, we have finally said goodbye to our beloved salon. During the 10 years, there has been many memories to treasure, events to look back at and goodbyes to familiar faces and it has been difficult to decide what would be the best going forwards.
Many of you know, prior to the lockdown, we would stop trading, and that has come to fruition and Kim is now looking to ease off her much-loved passion and career.
For the time being, we cannot say what will happen, and we are working on what we can do for Kim to continue her work, and it will take a little time to make the arrangements to do so. This could mean mobile or a chair at an existing salon around the Bridgend area.
More information will be provided once the arrangements have been made and confirmed and we will let all our customers know promptly.

It's good to be BACK!!

As we have had so many requests for appointments and inquiries through the past 3 months, we have done our best to allocate time slots for our customers.
Due to so many appointments not being confirmed we are not sure what is happening with those allocated times.

So if you could ring for bookings and more on 01656 649845, it would be much appreciated!

**Customer Notice**

We are back OPEN and trading from the Monday 13th July. We will not be accommodating walk-ins for the time being so please make sure you contact us by Facebook or Phone, on 01656 649845 to make an appointment.

Our opening times have also changed to the following:

Monday 9am-2pm
Tuesday 9am-2pm
Wednesday (closed)
Thursday 9am-2pm
Friday 9am-2pm
Saturday 9am-2pm

For the time being we will be asking all our customers to attend their appointments with mouth covering i.e masks and any other PPE they feel comfortable in.
If you have no masks, there will be limited supply of disposable masks at the salon for £1.

If these conditions are not met, we will have no choice but to refuse entry to our premises.

We are doing our best to prevent the spread of Covid-19 with preventative measures to keep all our customers safe, and we would greatly appreciate it if our customers shared the same views and keeping the staff safe too.

Hello everyone, it has been a while.
Last few months have been exceedingly difficult for everyone, with the current Covid-19 Pandemic.
We have received numerous messages asking us when we will be back open and when are we taking appointments etc.

At this current time, we do not know when we will be able to open our doors again in Wales, so we will keep everyone updated when we know of further developments. Hopefully soon…

Regarding appointments, as we do not know when we will start trading again, its very hard for us to determine when we can start taking appointments.
If you are interested in appointments, please message us with your requirements, theses include what service, day of the week and time of the day. At least with this information we can start preparing and allocating slots for customers in advance for the future and will contact you to confirm the appointments.
We hope that everyone is keeping well and safe during these restricted times.

**CUSTOMER NOTICE**

Today, 2 new customers walked in for Foils and cut and finish, and walked straight out without paying. We have been based in Bridgend for a long time, and it's the first time we have seen the pair.

We are very disappointed that there are people out there that think a senseless act like this is acceptable.

We think that actions must be taken to prevent any recurring incidents.

We would appreciate if everyone can share this post and let others know, due to the fact something like this has happened elsewhere within the borough at other salons.

Our policy in regards to valuable hair services, will require partial payments/deposits prior to start of the service for new customers. Otherwise we would like to say thank you for your interest, but we will not be providing the services.

And finally to all our loyal and valuable customers. We thank you. We thank you for taking your time to come into our store and enjoying our company, skills and services.

In the coming weeks, we are going to be stocking some amazing Korean Skincare products, just in time for Christmas!

We will be stocking skincare sets, masks, toners, serums, creams and many more from many big Korean Cosmetic companies.

The products will be available to buy in store and also we are going to be offering online payment service with free delivery!

Our prices are going to be very competitive or even less with what is currently available here in the UK.

We will be posting whats coming into the store, and if you are interested in the products, please message us to find out more!

If you are looking for an exciting new challenge or perhaps approaching leaving school and wanting a career in hair this could be for you. The candidate should be hardworking, creative and happy to attend training provider to gain qualifications in hairdressing. Alternatively, if you are already part way through your hairdressing qualifications and want to get some experience working in a salon this could be ideal for you.
