Jezz…. Didn’t expect to feel as emotional as I was this morning, but what can I say? 🥹
13 years ago my husband Jamie encouraged me to leave my job at The Hair Business to set up Coast in St Brides- I was only 21! 😳 I knew I was a good hairdresser but running a salon and a business was something that was completely outside of my comfort zone. But I must say it’s been one of the most amazing experiences of my life and has taught me so much, it’s given us so many amazing times along the way! We built a brand, a salon, a team, a place where people could come to get the best service and hair dos in Wales, and I’m incredibly proud that I have been able to deliver that. ☺️☺️☺️
I want to say more than a huge thank you 🙏 to Mr Gareth Cording for all his guidance and help throughout, we will never forget his words “Build it and they Will Come”! I’d also like to thank all our staff from our first employee Kirsty in 2011 all the way to Gina and Carla 2023 🙏 I know some have gone on to set up their own businesses, and I wish them all the best and luck in the world 🍀
There’s been so many personalities and staff with us on the Coast story, too many to mention but you know who you are and thank you for your input into the Coast story 😊😘
It’s with mixed emotions that my chapter in this story is about to end.
We all have given the salon our best and I’m truly thankful for that! Hairdressing is a tough business to be in from a financial perspective but it also brings so much joy to people’s lives! 😃
Finally and most importantly, I would like to thank this lovely lady Margaret Rowlands, my very first client and quite fittingly my last client. Margaret gave her support from the very beginning 🥰 along with many other fabulous clients and friends over the years that have loved coming to Coast for many many years ❤️❤️ I’m sorry too many to mention, you know who you are 😘 I’m so grateful ❤️❤️❤️
