Although I’ve done so many course, and have spent £18,000 on learning lip filler there is always something new to learn. The learning NEVER stops. I don’t want to be trained by anyone that’s not a medic. There is a lot of aesthetic practitioners that get trained by non medics. It’s a No ❌ from me for many reasons.

I remember this day very well. Don’t think I had ever felt so nervous inside before. But remained calm and collective throughout.

Pete was booked into my lunch hour for treatment. So I had the pleasure of meeting him, and having him in the chair for 40 minutes. I didn’t treat him any different to any other patient, he was met with professional throughout from start to finish. Such a lovely guy.

Nasolabial Folds, often referred to as smile or laugher lines are the lines that run from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth. They become more noticeable with age primarily due to the loss of collagen. Other factors that may play a part in this are ⬇️

* Smoking
* Environmental pollution

which can accelerate their appearance. The best filler for nasolabial folds is typically one that contains hyaluronic acid, a substance known for its volume-adding.

Marionette lines extend from the corner of the mouth down to the chin.

Some of the causes behind the formation of marionette lines are ⬇️

For those with marionette lines, a comprehensive assessment is necessary. This may include the evaluation of lip volume and the addition of support through fillers if the lips are thin.

This is exactly what I did for my patient here. I added filler to the lips to lift and also hydrate them and this all comes in with helping reduce the appearance of marionette lines.

2 - 3 days for the swelling to subside and settle. But please bear in mind, every patients anatomy is different so the healing process can differ. For some patients there may be a small amount of swelling for even 2-4 weeks after the procedure.
