💦EVER GOOGLED COLONICS?? 💦

Most of us nowadays go to Chat GPT or some form of AI for info don’t we, and it’s a great source of knowledge …… to an extent!

A colleague recently wrote an article on how AI is depicting colonics and it’s so true!!

Al systems, including ChatGPT, are designed to produce answers informed by available information.

When answering health questions, they tend to give considerable weight to established medical sources and published research. Generally speaking, that's sensible.

But Al is not an independent clinical researcher. It doesn't have years of experience treating patients. It doesn't know what thousands of people have reported to individual Colon Hydrotherapy practitioners unless those experiences have been documented somewhere accessible - which is not medical journals sadly!

It can also make mistakes, oversimplify evidence and present uncertain conclusions with more confidence than they deserve.

And I think that's worth understanding.

The best thing to do if you have questions about colonics and if they would be suitable for you, is to ask ME 👇💕🥰

Fast forward just a few months and, whilst I’m still working hard to spread the word about what I do and how it can benefit people, I’ve welcomed so many wonderful clients through my doors, seen people return again and again, received the loveliest reviews — and now THIS. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud that my little business here in Bridgwater has made it to the finals of a UK-wide award.

Thank you so much to every single person who has booked with me, recommended me, shared a post, left a review or simply encouraged me, particularly the close family and circle of friends who have helped me the most one way or another…..you know who you are 🥰

You’ve helped turn an idea I was nervous to start into a business I absolutely love.

I (aka HydroBalance Therapies) have been named a FINALIST in the UK Women’s Business Awards 2026 for Start-Up Business Woman of the Year! 🥂

When I opened my little clinic in Bridgwater earlier this year, I had an empty diary, a huge amount of hope and absolutely no idea whether people would embrace what I was trying to create as it is very niche and so new to our area.

Fast forward just a few months and, whilst I’m still working on educating and reassuring people, spreading the word about what I do, I’ve welcomed so many wonderful clients through my doors, seen people return again and again, received the loveliest reviews — and now THIS. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud that my new, small business here in Bridgwater has made it to the finals of a UK-wide award.
