Hi mum wanted me to put an update on following the go fund me, she is so grateful for all your donations thank you so much, unfortunately her speech has now deteriorated so she is struggling to reply to any phone calls or voice notes so she wanted to say sorry for ignoring anybody, she has decided not to have any further treatment due to the amount of tumours in her head❤️❤️

To my wonderful customers,

After 20 years of hairdressing, I have made the difficult decision to close Colourbox. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer which has spread to my brain. I will never be able to return to hairdressing.

Running my business has been the greatest privilege of my life and has brought me so much joy, being able to do work with my Daughter.

Your continued custom and loyalty over the years has meant the world to me.

For now, I need to focus on my health and spending time with my family and would appreciate privacy.

Hollie will continue to work out of her beauty room, but subject to availability and customers should message her directly.

It’s that time of the year ✈️

My holiday dates are as follows :
I won’t be at work from the 8th September to the 17th September

So my last working day will be
Saturday 6th September
Then I’ll be back in the salon refreshed and ready for the Christmas countdown ( dare I say it ) on Wednesday 17th September

It’s been 5 years since I took the plunge and opened Colourbox with Hollie joining me doing beauty 6 months later 👯‍♀️ with beauty in the box

This lady had a grown out blocky balayage with orange tones 🍊

She wanted a brighten up but something that will grow out nicely as she works on sea cruise liners so cannot have a big up keep 🛥️

Took the blonde up and the brown down to create a seamless blend and then toned it all 💛

The time it took was worth it 💘

This lady had a build up of dark colour and wanted to break it up with lighter tones running through it

Lightened with foliage so no massive up keep for a more lived in colour 🤎🖤

I get asked how often hair services should be done so I thought this would help you understand the treatments you can have to the length of time in between appointments 💕

These are all guidelines and a personal preference to each individual client 💓 and the guidelines are to keep your treatment looking its best and for the integrity of your hair 💕
