Hello everyone, hope you’re all well😊

As we look forward to our second week at work, I would just like to thank all our fabulous clients for their support and kindness they have shown us in our first week back at work, it is so appreciated 😍

To Julie, Amy, Louise, Max and Zoya...well what can I say? You guys were amazing! I can’t express enough my admiration for you all. For your professionalism and stamina during what was a full on return to work, as I said- you were amazing ❤️

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well!

With only three days until April the 12th, the great return 😊, it feels different this time as we prepare to reopen....dare I say there’s an air of optimism 🧐

As you can imagine we have been busy getting ready for Monday, as I write this post we have a company carrying out a deep clean at the salon in preparation for everyone’s return.

I’d like to thank Lee Monkman of Alan Howard , our main wholesaler, for his constant support and time, thanks mate 👍

Here’s a reminder to what to expect on your return to the salon regarding the rules and procedures:

A member of our team will meet you at the entrance where you will be asked if you or anyone you have had physical contact with, has shown any symptoms of Covid 19 in the last 14 days. (Hopefully not!).If you have coat or jacket etc you will need to put it in a bag that you must bring with you.

You will then enter the salon, use the hand sanitiser, be registered on our Track & Trace sheet and then... it’s time for some serious hairdressing!!😃

Unfortunately, there will be no refreshments or magazines available and no toilet facilities. You may bring a bottle of water and your own magazine / iPad & iPhone but when not in use they must be kept in a bag.

The Government has asked for us to keep conversation to a minimum (has any one told Maxine? 😱) so with this in mind we ask you to avoid making and receiving calls on your mobile and not use your phone charger.

We will maintain social distancing wherever possible along with providing sanitising units in the salon and a box of tissues at every work station.

After every client leaves, all of our tools will be sanitised, and work stations/chairs will be disinfected.

If any client has any concerns we will do our very best to answer them using our vast experience and the government guidelines set out in their "Keeping Workers Safe” paper.

Obviously for the first few weeks the salon will be more busy than usual, so we ask you to be patient when visiting and telephoning the salon, we will appreciate it and do our best to accommodate you 😃

For those of you who we have spoken to over the last few months , whether it’s been on the phone, in the street or supermarket kindly offering words of support , thank you, it’s always a pleasure to see you. Our clients are very special to us at Shades Of Hair ❤️

And so once again thanks and love to Julie, Amy, Louise, Max and our new stylist Zoya for all your support, we have some long days ahead of us.. but hey! We are professionals 😆I would like to thank my wife Bobbie for putting up with me being at home, on and off, for the last eight months and especially the love and support she gave me when my dad passed away in November ...thank you 💖
