Lately I’ve found my joy for this art again and re-lit my spark.
I hope you can see some of the creative expression I’ve tried defining with each haircut, each stroke of the blade.
I treat each client differently — never two heads of hair the same, just as no two days pass quite the same.
Every head is a new canvas.
Every imperfection, a detail to work with.
Every cut, another chance to create something I haven’t created before.
There’s a fine line between repetition and mastery. Between simply cutting hair and creating something with it.
And lately, I’ve been trying to cross that line.
Not chasing perfection, but expression.
Not repeating yesterday’s work, but finding something new in today’s.
Five heads. Five canvases. Five pieces of the same craft — yet not one the same.
The spark was never gone.
Maybe I just needed to create again.
