I was astounded to see that clothes are the biggest polluter of the environment after oil in the US, 85% of the clothes people throw away end up in landfill! Up cycle, reuse, donate to charity, give to friends, stop buying crap fast fashion clothing and help stop this obscene waste of resources and the exploitation of the people that make them.

All these birds were destined for landfill as the local game butcher couldn't sell them as they were past the best for meat consumption. I took the whole lot and skinned, taxidermied and salted them back in February. Last week they emerged from their salting buckets to be meticulously washed, treated & dried. Now a lot of them will be dyed, dried and trimmed ready to be sold in my new responsibly sourced feather supply business! Wish me luck

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted anything for while, been busy with orders, a hospital stay and a house move. Just finished the last of the orders I received after my appearance on Countryfile! Thank you to everyone that placed orders, it enabled me to realise my dream of moving to Brighton and inspired me to save even more British game bird feathers from landfill and incineration. New designs for summer coming very soon!

The first naturally shed jackdaw/crow feather of the year! I love to feed these birds and last year they left me loads of their feathers in the garden 💗
