Skin Tests – What Do I Need To Know?

A skin test involves placing a small blob of colour behind your ear which tests for allergic reaction to man made colour pigment

You must book a skin test if:

· you have suffered from any illness that has recently put your immune system under strain (such as Coronavirus). Any illness that puts your immune system under strain may cause your body to overreact to colour services.

· You have had a Covid vaccine

· you have not had a colour application, used any home colour or skin test within the last 3 months.

For anyone that requires a skin test (or if you are under any doubt or concern), this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

This can be carried out on a drop-in basis during opening hours Tuesday to Saturday each week. Colour services will not be performed without a prior skin test.


Wear a face covering

It is mandatory for all clients to wear a face covering to the salon and keep it on throughout your hair appointment.

You may be asked to unhook mask ear loops, or remove it at times during your appointment in order to carry out certain tasks such as cutting round ears.

Hand sanitizer

Please ensure you use hand sanitizer on entering our salon. We will be providing this
on entry.
We kindly ask that clients only use our bathroom facilities if you are booked in for a long appointment service.

Arrive alone

Please ensure that you do not bring any family members, including children or any
friends with you to the salon during your appointment. There will not be access
to magazines so please bring your own reading material.

Payments

We are accepting card and cash payments.

Pricing Update

Please note if you have excessive regrowth or if we use extra colour product an additional charge of £5 to £10 will also apply to cover costs.

🙏🏻So as I’m sure you are all aware we will be opening our doors again on April 12th🥳 obviously if the government guidelines change then we will have to abide by them but 🤞🏻it can still go ahead ☺️
