I had to get her to send me a photo with her hair naturally styled at home so we have got a home photo for the amazing finish! ✨

We did a lovely big chop and did a full balayage with a nice red toner ❤️ so in love with the results 🫶🏻

Hey, I'm Maisie - The face behind Styled By Mouse! I've had some new followers so I thought it would be good to get to know me better!

I started my hairdressing journey back in 2021 at 16 years old but I fell in love with the industry at the ripe old age of 4 🙈 I have never imagined myself doing anything else other than hair however I did have a moment when I was 13 where I wanted to be a geography teacher 🌍

I've never really had a job outside of the hair industry other than pulling a few pints every now and again. However, no job has ever captured my heart like hair does. I love pouring everything I've got into creating beautiful masterpieces that people can walk around with all day long.

I took the leap into self employment in October 2025 at Donna's Hair & Beauty and I must admit it's been the scariest thing I have ever done, but I am so grateful for everyone that has supported me in my massive leap into this decision ❤️ you are all so amazing!

You'll find me behind the chair Tuesday - Friday, with a few breaks in-between so I can go be a good mama to my pup 🐾, working and creating masterpieces and out the back mixing up amazing concoctions for your hair.

I have always been told that I am an honest person so if you want the outright truth about your hair you will always get a straight answer from me. You can also guarantee when you come sit in my seat, you will receive a warm smile and some cheesy jokes 🧀

I love everything from colours to cuts in this industry but my favourites are graduated bobs, vivid colours and the standard top up of roots. I always love to pop a curl in at the end of services to make sure you leave feeling 100% and like a whole new person! But who also doesn't love a good straightened look after a fresh hair doo!
