The Smile Shield transparent face mask was confirmed at the 4 Nation Review Panel on Wed 23rd February 2022, as being compliant against The UK transparent Face Mask Specification.
This was after assessment by the DHSC Technical and Regulatory Assurance team, Surgical Materials Testing laboratory, as well as usability trials undertaken in the NHS.
