Old PMU and bad PMU are very different things!

Good permanent makeup is designed to soften over time. In fact, that's exactly what we want. It allows the brows to be refreshed as your face changes, your colouring changes and your style evolves.

Old pigment just means time has passed.

Bad pigment is a different conversation altogether.

That could be the result of poor quality pigments, pigment being implanted at the wrong depth, a shape that doesn't suit the face, or brows that have been repeatedly covered over without properly assessing what's already in the skin.

That's why every consultation starts with an assessment, not a treatment plan.

Sometimes all your brows need is a refresh. Sometimes removal is the best option.

No two sets of brows are the same, and that's exactly how they should be treated 🤍

I know... aftercare isn't the most exciting thing!

Once the treatment's over, all you want to do is get on with your life, with your sexy new brows!

But those first couple of weeks really do matter.

The pigment is settling, your skin is healing, and how you look after your brows during that time can make a real difference to how they heal.

I always give clear aftercare advice and I'm only ever a message away if you're unsure about anything. I'd much rather answer what feels like a silly question than have you second-guessing it at home.

Beautiful brows are a team effort, and you've gotta put in that little bit of aftercare work too! 🤍

There are so many talented PMU artists out there. But there are also a lot of people who end up in my clinic for laser to remove work from elsewhere that wish they'd done a bit more research first.

I don't say that to scare you. I say it because I see both sides of it.

As a brow artist, I get to create beautiful brows.

As someone who also specialises in laser removal, I see what happens when things haven't gone to plan.

So before you book, take your time!

This lovely client came to me after previous lip blush she had had done elsewhere had healed blue because the pigment was completely wrong for her natural colouring.

One of the biggest misconceptions about permanent makeup is that it's just about choosing a pretty colour. In reality, your skin tone, undertones, the pigment used and how it heals all play a huge part in the final result.

After her laser removal appointment, seeing her smile was the best feeling ever!!

Being able to help someone feel confident again is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

This client came to me with previous PMU that wasn't giving her confidence. Rather than trying to work around it, we removed the old pigment first, giving us the chance to create a brow that actually suits her face.

It's a longer journey than simply booking a brow appointment, but the end result is so worth it 🤍

When people hear PMU removal, they usually think brows.

But brows are only part of what I remove.

I’ve completed advanced training to offer laser removal for brows, eyeliner and lip blush, as well as body tattoo removal. Some of these areas are much more specialised than others, and not every laser practitioner will offer them.

You don’t have to keep something on your face or body just because you once chose to put it there. You can choose to remove it too.
