We have been evicted and are not aloud back into the house as yet. We are all ok and very lucky!!! Our angels were looking after us.

Dermaplaning- everything you need to know!

So what is Dermaplaning? And what does it do?!

The pictures below, all show what comes off of a persons face after 1 Dermaplaning facial.. what you are looking at here is; hair, dry skin, dead skin, old make up build up, black heads, sun spot damage and any other ounce of dirt that has built up on your skin over time.
As you can see, every single persons face is different!

Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation of
the face, using a scalpel
(I can promise you it doesn’t hurt! At all! It’s quite relaxing actually 😍) the blade is then carefully passed over the face at an angle, using fine feather like strokes, removing everything in its path!!! 🦾
In turn you are left with a super smooth, shiny new layer of hairless skin!

But why?! 🤷🏼‍♀️
Well what if I told you:
Dermaplaning reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, encourages old stubborn black heads and under the skin pimples to come out, removes all the hair from your face allowing make up to sit directly into the skin rather than a layer of hair (que perfect make up base!💋) scars overtime can reduce in depth, it also stimulates collagen and sebum production giving you a beautiful, healthy glow!
Product absorption levels will be at their highest after, so it’s a perfect opportunity to get that moisture back into your beautiful faces!

Before your treatment begins I will analyse and we will discuss your skin type, what skin routine you try to follow and what works for your skin. I will also happily advise on products I think may work for you.

I always like to finish a Dermaplane with a beautiful balm that helps to protect your new layer of beautiful skin whilst pumping some essential vitamins back into your face 😘

Treatment is £30 and it’s advisory to have this every 4-6 weeks (depending on your skin)

**treatment NOT suitable for active acne/infected clients, but will reduce appearance for old acne scarring**

It’s Essential you add a spf50 to your beauty routine, as this will protect your new skin from further sun damage and wrinkles!

(Top tip: change your pillowcase after treatment due to Bacteria, if you have a satin pillowcase- this is your new best friend! If you don’t have one please invest in one! Prevents and Reduces wrinkles and allows moisture to retain within the skin, rather than soak into the pillowcase keeping your skin glowing!!!)

Myth- this treatment will NOT make your hair grow back thicker/longer etc. Biologically this treatment physically cannot change the hair follicles, we are simply cutting the hair off rather than pulling it out from the root. I promise you will not grow a beard or tash! Xx
