"My hands tell you a story" 👐

This afternoon, I had the privilege of hosting a deeply moving socio-aesthetic workshop at the Staple Hill Community Hub.

Before diving into our relaxing scrubs and hand massages, we started with a powerful exercise where each participant opened up and shared the stories their hands hold.

From grief and loneliness to shared experiences and comfort, it was an incredibly and beautiful session.

It felt so fitting to hold this space this week, as we observe Loneliness Awareness Week.
Loneliness is a theme I see and address so often in my work, and there is nothing quite like the healing power of touch, active listening, and human connection to break the silence ✨

✨Sharing the highlights of my latest socio-esthetics workshop!

The focus was all about lip care. We explored gentle routines and techniques to soothe, protect, and restore the delicate skin of the lips for the summer.

I love to run sensory activities like this one for the Redcliffe Hub. ✨Empowering individuals through tailored skincare brings me so much joy.

Beauty, socio-aesthetic has the power to heal ✨

This testimony from one of the women at my Staple Hill workshop reminded me why socio-aesthetics matters so much in our communities. Behind every lipstick, every hair talk, every shared laugh there is a woman rediscovering her worth and her joy.

This is the heart of my work. And I am so honoured to be part of these women's journeys 🌸 Read her words below.

At the Redcliffe Hub thanks to the support of each month I deliver a free workshop for the women in the community.

Like every month I include their needs and thoughts about building the next workshop. For that one and because the summer is coming in a month we decided to talk about the effect of the sun on your skin☀️

We spent time learning about sun safety, understanding SPF and how to protect our skin while still enjoying the warmer days 🧴

One of my favourite moments was sharing about creating our own refreshing DIY face and body mist perfect for cooling down and staying hydrated during hot weather with few safe ingredients.
