Thank you - friendliest people, great atmosphere and unreal day for the 70.3
Swim needs a whole lot of work
Bike happy
Run happy-ish (cramp blocker would’ve been a game changer)
All in all, an unreal day out made all the better by sharing the weekend with my older bro - he’s taken me on this journey and I am loving the challenge. Last big race in October for Cascais in Portugal.
As always, thank you to my family for their patience and support… you’re a saint ♥️
In the meantime some big swim, bike and run sessions planned
Start your journey to inversion here!

Nick is Ant's brother and our other founding father.
Nick started Torque while still playing professional rugby for Bristol Bears. His immersion in elite level sport ensured that Torque was set up to the highest possible standards of both coaching and equipment.
Having now retired from the game, Nick, a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer will be around the place a lot more. He will be leading classes and taking personal clients.
If you are looking for a personal trainer or would like to benefit from Nick's vast sporting experience then please get in touch!

If you’re struggling for motivation, sometimes a change of scenery is all you need. Choose a new route, go to a different gym, try training a different energy system. Keep things interesting, change the scenery.

First middle distance triathlon ✅
Swim - 38 minutes (2kms, poor sighting of the bouys)
Bike - 3 hours 16 minutes
Run - 1 hour 52 minutes
Total time including transitions and an additional 2.2km run between bike and swim 6 hours 9 minutes
A lot of learnings on the day:
1) Don’t take your race belt to the swim, leave it on your bike handle bars
2) learn to site the bouys better to avoid an additional 100m swim
3) remember to remove your helmet between bike and run
4) wild donkeys, horses and ponies don’t give 2 f**ks about cyclists and runners on the road… and rightly so, navigate round them safely!
5) could do with shifting a few pounds for the next race
Other than that, thank you for putting on such a brilliant event and to for the nutrition to see me through. It was very enjoyable day out.
Thank you for the programming, as a training partner and for all your support and care along the way.
Been bitten by the bug!

Unreal what’s happening here - .clark running 48 marathons in the 48 English Counties in 48 days, raising money for miles4meals.co.uk who aim to end food poverty and hunger in the UK.
John, you’re doing something very special here and it was a pleasure running part of your 37th marathon in Bristol with you.
Please get behind John and let’s raise as much money as we can for this great cause.
