As part of our lash training, we had to provide 3 case studies showing the techniques we've learnt in the course on real-life clients, and of course, mother dearest had to be my first client hehehe. Super proud of how this set came out and (although her reaction may be slightly biased lol) mumma loved it too!💕

💜 MEET THE FACE BEHIND OUR BUSINESS: Anchilla Francisco

Hi hello there, let me introduce myself...
My name is Anchilla Marie Francisco and I am the owner and creative director of AMF Beauty and Cosmetics!✨️

I have recently turned 24, I was born in Davao Philippines, and our small business is based in Bristol UK. As a little girl, I've always been interested and curious about makeup and beauty. I would always watch YouTube videos of beauty gurus, influencers and celebrities getting ready and glammed up. One thing I was known for when I was younger with my family and friends were my eyebrows (or 'kilay' in tagalog/bisaya). Unfortunately, I was not blessed with thick, full brows or long lashes; the brow hairs I had were very thin, sparse and my lashes were short and stubby. And so, my beauty journey begins...

The no-eyebrow look didn't personally suit me, so I decided to experiment with different brow pencils and strip lashes. This then led me to try eyelash extensions and brow lamination and from then on, I was hooked! I loved how they accentuate your eyes/face and how easy they are to maintain. I didn't need to worry about setting aside time to do my brows or put my strip lashes on because they already looked great! Just a brush through with a spooly and I'm good to go!

2 years ago, I graduated as a Registered Nurse and I currently work full time in a hospital. Fast forward to this year, I have managed to cut down my hours in the hospital, and I decided to take that big leap and enrol in some beauty courses. Now, I am so happy to announce that as well as being a RN, I am also a qualified Lash and Brow Technician! Words cannot express how excited I am to share my expertise and services with you beautiful people, helping you look great and feel at your best!
