From as early as I can remember I wanted to be a hairdresser. I’ve been styling and cutting hair in Bristol for twenty-five years now and I still love it. I set up moda in 2005 and the hair salon continues to go from strength to strength, achieving 5 stars with the good salon guide. I am blessed with an amazing team of hair stylists which just keeps getting better – we love taking part in Bristol’s hair shows to demonstrate what we can do! As well as cutting, styling and colouring, I also specialise in wedding hair and I am always thrilled to be part of a bride’s special day. In addition to working in moda, I am involved in hairstyling education and training. In July 2012 I joined the Matrix education team and I travel to the L’Oreal Academy in Hammersmith for regular training and updates. I am also part of the South West educational team and through this, I deliver training both to students in colleges and also in other salons all over the South West of England, including in-salon demos. I am a member of the fellowship of hairdressers where I get a chance to meet and work with famous icons in our industry. I love getting out and about sharing my knowledge, but I still feel most at home in moda with my clients, many of whom have become friends. It’s lovely to see them happy when they leave the salon.
