After last week’s first thank-you delivery, Eric was back at Katherine House this time dressed as Postman Pat and carrying the next box of thank-you gifts!

It was lovely to see everyone’s faces as we handed over their cards, personal notes and little gifts, and told them just how much we appreciated everything they had done for Grandma June and for all of us as a family.

And of course, Sue was back from her holiday… and Eric was VERY happy to see that she had his biscuit ready!

We’re nearly there, but there’s one last thank-you delivery to make…

WELCOME TO AUTUMN AT Pampering with Alice

Autumn has officially arrived outside my beauty room!

Eric and I have had so much fun searching, shopping and collecting pieces to create this little autumn display.

We wanted something warm, cosy and welcoming something that would make you smile as you arrive for your appointment.

I absolutely LOVE how it’s come together… and I hope you do too!

Me, Mum and Eric headed out to enjoy a beautiful day at National Trust and the sunshine made it even better

There were so many fun, interactive things to discover trying on lots of different hats , sitting in the grand chair , having a go at a shadow puppet show and, of course, pretending to bake in the kitchen!

We then enjoyed some lovely treats in the café …. before we got back in and car and made our last stop of the day…. Eric proudly showed Granny around Celtic Manor one of his favourite places. He loved being a tour guide!

And obviously… no visit would be complete without a trip to the playroom!

So today we took our first batch of thank-you gifts to the amazing team at Katherine House.

Every member of staff has been given a little card with a collage of Grandma June’s pictures, a personal note and a little gift just to say thank you for everything you’ve done for her over the last four years.

The care, kindness, friendship, laughs and support they gave Grandma and the reassurance they gave all of us as a family meant so much.

And of course… no visit to Katherine House with Eric would be complete without Leanne taking him off for his famous pink biscuit! 😂💗

This is only Part 1 because we want to see as many of the staff as possible in person, so we’ll be back next week with Part 2.
