As a local men’s hairdressing institution on Gloucester Road in Bristol, Franco’s Barbering Lounge brings more than 30 years’ barbering and male grooming experience to clients old and new. After nearly 30 years on Overton Road our move to a bigger and brand new men’s hair salon at 31 Gloucester Road meant that Franco’s Barbering Lounge could meet it's aims to offer the best in barbering. Creative Director Franco Lombardi and his team give clients a stunning mix of classic barbering, contemporary men’s hairdressing, male grooming, awesome hair products for men, male grooming products, beard care products, and the best banter in Bristol. We're sad to say farewell to one of our most loyal, long-standing clients. Today we waved goodbye to Rich after 40 wonderful years — one of Franco’s original clients — as he had his final service. At the same time, we’re excited for him as he begins retirement and moves to Cornwall. Wishing you a brilliant new chapter, Rich!

The team went to London this week (with matching bags 😆, sorry no photo) to continue their education and sharpen their skills for our clients with . Hats off to our apprentice Finley who sailed through the course for experienced barbers. Next week we’re off to upgrade our EVO product knowledge!

This week is National Apprenticeship Week, so we thought we'd celebrate it with a 5* Google review that our apprentice Finley received yesterday from a lovely client.
Currently only 5 months into his apprenticeship, and with reviews like this now, image the potential over the next 13 months until he qualifies.
After nearly 40 years, it's no wonder Franco still loves training apprentices!!!
